The Cat vs the Stove Top

We should be careful to get out of an experience only the wisdom that is in it — and stop there — lest we be like the cat that sits down on a hot stove-lid. She will never sit down on a hot stove-lid again, and that is well; but also she will never sit down on a cold one any more. -Mark Twain, author and humorist (1835-1910)

As 2009 moves in, it seems to me the time is perfect to nail on “paper” some of the “pith and vinegar” that has burbled up over the months past and that will doubtless pop up as the days roll on.
Some amazing people have a gift for putting into a few words some enormous concepts.  Humor makes the lesson go down easily.
This collection will grow, willy nilly.  Stop back and see where we have gone.
